Otomo Katsuhiro The Visual Works of Mushishi

Katsuhiro Otomo is a Japanese manga artist and director. He is perhaps best known for being the creator of the manga Akira and its anime adaptation, which are extremely famous and influential. Otomo has also directed several live action films, such as the recent 2006 feature film adaptation of the Mushishi manga.

Mushishi is a historical fantasy manga series authored by Yuki Urushibara. It has been adapted into an anime television series and a live-action feature film. The manga serialization began in 1999 and is ongoing.
