The artist, selected 35 out of 100 hotels, was interested in their retro-styled design and thought it would be interesting to create a book in all of his findings. It includes the sketch designs of the hotels that stood out for the artist, their room's designs, the placing of the furniture, the history of building structure, photographs of the original buildings, and more.

This book is great for learning architecture and a good read. (Mostly Japanese text.)
